Jimmy Garcia - VP Operations
Jimmy Garcia serves as the Vice President – Operations for G2 Builders. Jimmy’s career in the construction industry began in 1997. Jimmy has been with G2 Builders for 12 years. Jimmy’s determination, loyalty and commitment led him from Superintendent on the first G2 project to General Superintendent, then to his current position on the Executive Board as Vice President of Operations.
Before leading construction management at G2 Builders, Mr. Garcia helped build Select Masonry & Concrete into an $8+ Million Minority Certified masonry and concrete subcontractor. Mr. Garcia participated in all aspects of projects from inception to completion and at one time was running over 50 field personnel. Jimmy believes in hard work and that people who roll up their sleeves, rarely lose their shirts.

Jimmy oversees the field operations of all G2 projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget. Jimmy ensures that G2 is always adhering to a strict level of ethics, and service not just to our clients, but our valued subcontractors. Jimmy’s experience brings an in-depth knowledge of what makes a construction company run at its highest capacity. G2 has a philosophy that it is much less expensive to take the time to do the job right the first time and be proactive in preventing errors than it is to rework, scrap, and service them. Jimmy is remarkable at looking at the “construct-ability” of projects, identifying potential problems and errors early on in the meeting and drawing stage before they become a construction nuisance and cost time and money.
Mr. Garcia holds a Bachelor degree from Springfield College, in Massachusetts. Jimmy was a two-year starter on the football team and still maintains that athletic edge to his business. Jimmy has a wife, Deborah Lynn, and five boys, which keep him young. He is active in all their lives and is a wrestling, baseball and football coach on his limited spare time. Jimmy believes it takes a village to raise a child and that they are our future. He has participated in the Big Brother and Big Sister of America, and has received special acknowledgement for his work with D.A.R.E.
