Ragu Sada - VP Pre-Construction

Ragu Sada serves as the Vice President – Preconstruction of G2 Builders and is based in the firm’s regional office in Austin, Texas.  Ragu performs all the estimating and business development for both offices in Chicago and Austin.  He oversees the turnover of projects seamlessly to operations.

Ragu’s career included project management of over $50 Million of construction; and subsequently acted as Chief Estimator for a division that closed $500 Million in construction.

Mr. Sada quarterbacks the front end of deals and provides value engineering throughout the construction process.  His involvement is invaluable to the flow of operations, providing all clients with a consistent, high-level of construction service.  He has engineered construction management plans for projects that encompass extensive city blocks and he has masterminded the construction of multi-acre developments that required extensive site work and infrastructure repair.

Mr. Sada is qualified for and currently holds licenses in twenty-seven states and has a track record with Fortune 500 clients as Disney, Tenneco, and Nike and has provided design, construction, and/or consulting for over 50 million square feet of space.  Ragu is experienced in conceptual and detailed estimating, cost monitoring, value engineering, cost control, bid analysis, contract development, and scheduling and procedures development.

Mr. Sada holds a Bachelor degree from Purdue University, Potter School of Engineering, specializing in structural engineering with minors in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.  Ragu graduated Magnu Cum Laude.  Mr. Sada has been married for 11 years to his wife Pamela and they have six-year-old daughter Ava.
