Cost: $2,100,000G2 built Gyu-Kaku’s largest restaurant and first in the Midwest in downtown Chicago. The restaurant was four stories and had multiple complexities. Gyu-Kaku is Japanese barbeque, and each individual table has a barbeque that had to be black-iron ducted to a 100 ton cooling system on the roof. The space has custom-designed millwork, three (3) kitchens, and LED lighting.

Client: Eden’s Supportive Living
Location: Skokie, IL
Architect: G2 Builders
Size: 112,000 Sq. ft
Cost: $213,000G2 was hired to renovation the entire first floor dining room for Eden’s supportive living in Chicago, IL. The space will have a new fireplace, new storefront entrance and concrete ramp, and over 6,000 SF of tile flooring. The entire dining room had to stay open while construction happened with new cooler being installed.

Client: Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Location: Northbrook, IL

Cost: $138,000Ruth’s Chris Restaurant hired G2 to put a dining room expansion onto its existing restaurant in Northbrook, Illinois. The restaurant is part of the Renaissance Hotel. The space included a custom-built media wall, high-end wall coverings, and new brick and block expansion.

Location: Crystal Lake, IL
Architect: Joseph A. Meyer Associates
Size: 7221 Sq. ft
Cost: $820,000Kyoto Restaurant has been a core business in Crystal Lake, Illinois. G2 was hired to build their new home. G2 converted an existing Applebee’s Restaurant into a hibachi restaurant with a massive bar and sushi counter. The space will house 11 hibachi tables with granite counters and over 60 tons of cooling and exhaust. The space will have architectural etched glass, bamboo ceilings, and LED lighting.

Cost: $300,000G2 built the new Sweetie Pie bakery in Skokie, Il. Sweetie Pies is a very complicated bakery that had a new kitchen, FRP, make up air unit, and hood. The finishes were all custom and represented the personality and character of the client.
